Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PrecisionLoad ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PrecisionLoad LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a North Carolina limited liability company.

You must be at least 21 years of age to use this App. By using the App you confirm you meet this age requirement and are legally permitted to possess firearms and ammunition in your jurisdiction.

2. Description of Service

PrecisionLoad is a mobile application that provides:

• Reloading data tracking and organization tools (Free tier)
• Firearms inventory management (Free tier)
• Range session logging (Free tier)
• AI-powered target photo analysis (Premium tier)
• AI-powered load development suggestions (Premium tier)
• Chronograph data import (Premium tier)
• PDF export and accuracy charts (Premium tier)

3. Reloading Safety — Critical Terms

By using PrecisionLoad, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely and exclusively responsible for the safety of all ammunition you reload
• All load data entered into or generated by this App must be independently verified against current, authoritative reloading manuals published by recognized powder and bullet manufacturers before use
• You will never exceed maximum charge weights published by powder manufacturers
• You will always start at minimum recommended loads and work up incrementally
• PrecisionLoad is a data organization tool, not a substitute for proper reloading training, education, or published reloading manuals
• No data stored in or generated by this App constitutes professional reloading advice

4. AI Features — Important Limitations

The AI-powered features in PrecisionLoad (target analysis and load development suggestions) are powered by third-party artificial intelligence services. By using these features you acknowledge:

• AI analysis results are for informational and reference purposes only
• AI-generated load suggestions are NOT professional reloading advice and must not be treated as such
• AI systems can make mistakes, misinterpret data, or produce inaccurate results
• Never implement any AI-generated suggestion without first consulting a current reloading manual and verifying the data independently
• AI suggestions do not account for your specific firearm's condition, chamber dimensions, brass condition, or individual safety considerations
• The accuracy of AI target analysis depends on photo quality, lighting, and other factors outside our control

5. User Accounts

You must create an account to use PrecisionLoad. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• Providing accurate and complete information when creating your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

PrecisionLoad offers free and premium subscription tiers. For premium subscriptions:

• Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and subject to their respective terms
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Founding Member lifetime access is a one-time purchase with no recurring charges
• Refunds are subject to the refund policies of Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice
• Free tier features will remain available regardless of premium subscription status

7. Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of this App complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing:

• Firearms ownership and possession
• Ammunition manufacturing and possession
• Reloading activities in your jurisdiction
• Any transfer or sale of firearms or ammunition tracked in the App

PrecisionLoad does not provide legal advice. Laws governing firearms and reloading vary significantly by jurisdiction. Consult a qualified attorney if you have questions about legal compliance.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use PrecisionLoad to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Track or facilitate illegal firearms or ammunition transactions
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts or systems
• Use the App in any way that could harm, disable, or impair its functionality

9. Intellectual Property

PrecisionLoad and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by PrecisionLoad LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

PRECISIONLOAD IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OF ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT OR SUGGESTIONS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PRECISIONLOAD LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Personal injury or death arising from reloading activities
• Firearm damage, failure, or malfunction
• Property damage of any kind
• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits
• Inaccurate AI analysis or suggestions

THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY AND EVEN IF PRECISIONLOAD LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PrecisionLoad LLC and its members, officers, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Any ammunition you reload using data tracked or suggested by the App
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Any claim that your use of the App harmed a third party

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PrecisionLoad at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature within the App (Settings → Delete Account). Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact us at support@precisionload.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the App or sending an email. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, stop using the App and delete your account.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms will remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PrecisionLoad LLC regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
